'San Andreas' Director Teams With James Wan for 'Malignant Man'
/Wan is producing the adaptation of the Boom! Studios comic for Fox along with Boom!'s Ross Richie and Stephen Christy. San Andreas helmer Brad Peyton has come aboard to direct Malignant Man, a sci-fi/action project being produced by James Wan, who is coming off the strong opening of his horror sequel The Conjuring 2. Malignant Man is set up at Fox and based on a Boom! Studios comic that Wan co-created. Boom!’s Ross Richie and Stephen Christy are producing with Wan, who is working via his Atomic Monster label.
